Bloomberg TV Airs the First CSR Show in the Philippines
Not all companies practice the so-called corporate social responsibility (CSR). But some who made it part of their regular operation claimed it worth the policy implementation.

Today, the first television documentary on corporate citizenship, Business Matters, will be aired in Bloomberg TV Philippines at 9:30pm to 10pm.
Only a half hour TV program but full of interesting stories aimed to make people understand the importance of CSR in development and innovation.
Stories of change, hope and accomplishment amidst diversity while touching on pressing developmental challenges like poverty, food and water security, gender and equality and more will be highlighted.
The pilot feature is about how the lives of women micro-entrepreneurs are improved by a beverage company’s commitment to empower the lives of women across its value chain. This proves the current notion that giving back ia the new norm.
Robert Carizo, the Executive Producer of Sweet Potato Productions, stressed that the playing field has changed as consumers likely to put their money where their heart is and would much prefer investing in goods and services from companies that are genuinely committed to social responsibility.
The show is for people who are wondering just how instrumental the private sector is in making Filipino lives easier through sustainable programs.
